Nope, i did not have to reset anything. I just did the rebuild, filled and drove it. At first slow around the block, just to check all was good, then a longer run allowing coast down from say 80kmh. The ECU for the transmission is adaptive, it will relearn how you drive. It has preset shift points hard programmed into it. As long as you haven't shorted out the mechatronic when you removed it, it should all be ok.

I dont have a GAP IID tool (yet) my code reader can read and clear codes only

Also, I only had the car on axle stands all set at the same height, no need to 'precision' level. I did watch the transmission temp on the code reader, stopped at 35 deg c.
