My question is then is the aftermarket just as good? what is the difference other than price? Also checked auto wipers and they worked ok. Still after an aswer to my originl post thanks
And non-genuine clips used on the black trims, which never hold properly.
See here > Plenum Chamber panel
Part Number is LR 026343 for the "kit" (each kit does one trim strip).

You asked about the clips for the trims. Isn’t that what I posted? Use genuine and they clip into place like any other trim piece. What more info do you need?

The pic above is the kit with the correct clips to fix the trim (unless they broke the trim itself).
The snorkel I’m guessing is the factory RAI? If so, it should have a screw holding it at the top
I've had 3 aftermarket windscreens with rain sensor and I haven't been able to tell the difference between the genuine and after market, they chip and crack the same as a genuine. However it seems the trim not beind secured properly is a common and well known occurence and as posted earlier silcone is your friend.
Silicone is dodgy!
$10 worth of genuine clips and no problems.
Sorry Scott did not see the link. My appologies. And no Tombie my snorkel is an airflow, but fitment gto the a pillar is almost identical. Looking at the bottom of the plastic with the bonnet open, it appears there is some foam rubber. This has been torn and looks like it has been re glued. Will dismantle on weekend and get the parts asap. Thanks everybody.

But they still leak - the clips need to be sealed according to the LR Tech advice. Basically gaffa tape the holes in the pillar first and a bit of sealant on the clips before they go in.
I had my screen replaced 2 weeks ago and O'Briens knew all about it - no issues with my new screen.

The sensor is in the windscreen - it’s that black grid laminated into the glass by the rear view mirror. If you remove the plastic cover behind the mirror you can see the electrical connections which plug into the windscreen. It was this connection that was not fully compatible with the original.
