From my experience, if the wheel alignment is good, don't touch it. Took me four attempts at different places to get a good one so I'm leaving it until it actually needs one; either for suspension maintenance or actual symptoms (eg uneven wear or something noticeable at steering wheel).
I've recently swapped from Compos to Tuffants to LR 19s (exclusively city commuting for the last few weeks) without any changes to wheel alignment and without any issues. Drives nice and straight with even wear regardless of wheels fitted.
