That's always been my understanding. Don't tell the LC boys though.

I used 1855 as I have a TDV6 its 1885 for SDV6 and above. You can check the specs for your vehicle and update the car details figure. (see attached)

Has to be typo on the sheet that Steve as shared....
Either that or someone explain to me how it is possible to have the same Gross Vehicle weight and front axle weight but different rear axle weights... it's just not logical, its the same vehicle.
So is that ONLY a D3/4 spec?
I presume it is in the handbook?
Edit,my handbook says 1855kg for rear axle all vehicles except coiler, which is 1840.
Front axle 1450KG all vehicles.
can't find anything about the 150KG ball weight allowance
Oh,axle weights are non additive,whatever that means,anyone?
Yes, I think it is a typo in the spec sheet.
https://www.landrover.com.au/Images/...m296-96761.pdf This is the one I used (2015), it says 1855kg for TDV6 and 1885 for the others (mistake)
Did some more searching and found this one:-
https://www.landrover.com.au/Images/...296-193446.pdf This one is for (2016) and says 1855 for all models. So I think 1855 is the number to use, darn it. [bighmmm]
This second PDF has same figures for all models which makes more sense.
I leave you to decide what number you pop into the sheet. [smilebigeye] Disclaimer: I accept no responsibility for the numbers, calculations or actions resulting from the use of my spreadsheet. Just sayin...[biggrin]
Non additive means you can't add the two axle ratings together to get to your GVMR. The quoted GVMR has to be complied with, and neither axle loading exceeded.
