    The power wire to the OBD11 port is always live, is there any reason for this as you can’t really run any diagnostics with the ignition off.
    With the Nanocom in my D2 I’ve often wondered about adding a two-way switch to switch between the always on supply and a switched power source. This should then allow the Nanocom to turn on automatically with the ignition.
    I now have a D5 and am waiting for the D5 GAPIID to be released (I was told it should be soon), and the same question will arise. Using a switched power source would alleviate the problem with flat batteries
