No as it’s very well documented on Disco3UK which is where I got my info. Only advice is that the use of higher wattage H9 globes is fraught with issues. I’d recommend sticking with the standard globe spec as per the manual. The ECU wouldn’t let me drive a 55W on that circuit but was ok with the standard 35W. In the end I moved the fog light globe to the DRL and the 55W to the fog and the ECU was ok with that for whatever reason.

I assume it's this post DJ?
What is your verdict having done the mod? Is it worthwhile?
I'm not clear on what happens after the blanking piece if removed from the headlight? One out, using a drill, or a soldering iron etc, is there a mounting point left to 'screw' a bulb onto (like a bayonet fitting or something?)
After removing the fake bulb, you are left with a circle hole, u need to either file or use a solder tip to make the three slots which hold the bulb in place. I managed to make the slots in the headlight, but I damaged the ribbon that powers the park light leds. So I lost DRLs on that head light. Be careful!
Since then had an insurance claim and they replaced the headlight, now I have to start the process all over again.
I had the standard slots in my lights that would fit a standard globe so that sounds odd to me? I went to H9 so had to modify to accommodate that globe format. Once I went back to the standard globe it fit fine. Maybe that’s a HSE thing?
Worth it, not really in all honesty
Mine is an SDV6 se
Thanks - I’m in Perth too, if you had any left over you want to sell :-)
