Yeah, most workshops are ok but I have run into a couple of unhelpful ones. Got told by a Ford dealership that they didn't work on Land Rovers, even after telling them my friends Puma Defender had a Ford engine and pointed to a Ford Transit in their yard. Figured it was worth a shot that they might want some extra $$ to have a quick look. My bad! Probably didn't help that it was smoko.... In the end, we worked out that the intermittant rattle was a loose bracket and fixed it. Yay, for the RAVE manual!
If you are in a town that is big enough to have Ford dealership or any other brand dealership for that matter you are Not really in the "Bush" .Quote:

My posts have nothing to do with Toyota except as a comparaison to Land Rovers lack of service network. I suggest you read them again without blinkers. Off topic maybe, in the same vein as many others. Although part of future proofing your vehicle is where you need to travel to in order to get the required expertise.
