They should be far less inclined to aquaplane due to the more open pattern and full depth voids between all blocks and be better on unsealed surfaces for the same reasons. Pirelli acknowledged that the ATRs aquaplane in the AT+ release info so at least they've tried to fix that issue. They're obviously not very aggressive but from the few user reports are as quiet as Pirelli advocate.

    Just had a look.

The Scorpions always impressed in a lot of conditions that they shouldn't have just by looking at their tread pattern. Impressed the hell out of me …. in a bad way when that tread pattern wore a bit.

Muddies are good in mud …. end of story. The LTZs I have are far chunkier than the Scorpions and yet rate badly in mud …. enigma

The new Scorpion however doesn't appear to have the "Kev sh*tting his pants" outside bar on the tread-block.

    Interesting.

Wonder how smooth and quiet they really are. My LTZs are noisy …. OEM Wranglers are not and I remember the original ATRs as being very quiet too.

Tirerack.com has a write-up on a demonstration event and a couple of buyer feed-backs, with one having driven 7,500 miles. By comparison, the BFG AT KO2 release promo had testers challenging the reportedly quiet ride.
