Why bother? Is it that much cheaper after freight? Just go to a dealer surely?
Has anyone had success importing oil from the UK.
I thought it might be a problem so I asked before I ordered.
I got the following reply from Island 4x4.
“No – we don’t send any oils via freight outside of the EU, as customs officers act as though you’re trying to send depleted Uranium warheads via FedEx….”
I know some carriers won’t ship air springs and some will so I thought there may be one that will ship oil.
Thanks
Sean

At $33 a litre instead of $85 and if you include other items in the order as well you come out a fair way in front. I’m looking at a total order of about $800 with most of the other items quite small and light. When you divide the freight across all the items it’s about a 20% increase which brings the oil to $42 a litre.
If it was just the oil, you would be in front but most probably not worth the trouble.

SubscriberAnyone able to find of have links to a TDS for the Shell TF 0753?
You only need 1.5l for a transfer case. Is the saving really worth all of the hassle?
