Thread: Oil Change Sucker

I have sucked the oil out of my sump on a sdv6 and then pulled the sump plug, not a single drop of oil came out. The sump plug is in fact not on the bottom of the sump.

I also changed the filter at the same time, why wouldn't you?

That's one reason I (the vac. pump actually) suck most of the oil out then do the filter. Gives time for any oil left in galleries or the filter to drain down.
