brake pad sensor replacement D4 2016

Just hoping that someone knows where the sensor cable originates in the engine bay - have taken out the wheel arch cover (passenger side of course!) and it seems the cable terminates under the battery or fuse box - is this correct? and what should I be looking for? a box, a loom?

    Thanks - any input appreciated!

    cheers

What are you trying to achieve?

The brake wear sensor cable runs from the pads and up to another plug — that then runs up into the engine bay somewhere and connects into an ECU.

You’re only replacing the bit that goes from the pads to that plug (somewhere around the top of the strut assembly by memory).

Or are you trying to replace the entire loom, all the way back to the ECU?

    Cheers,

If you have removed the plastic inner wheel arch cover, you should be able to follow the cable from the brake calliper end up to the little plug under the wheel arch.
