Well had the job done and asked indie for the old parts.Opened up epb module and powered it with 12v battery works fine both ways no noises or issues.On all service invoices it’s says park brake serviced.Do these technicians just see a fault assume yep it’s stuffed replace part.Costly experience now I don’t know who to trust with car servicing dealer once also tried ripping me off as well.Might be time to sell? I would be taking the working and good parts back and demanding a refund and explanation, depending on how that conversation went would be the deciding factor on whether to continue with that mechanic or find a better one.
As far as selling, that is a tough one, great cars but with LR niggles they do give you the ****s some times which in today's age build quality should be as good as any other brand but sadly that is still not the case so only you can make that choice
