    Ah gotcha!
out of curiosity, is there any truth to the comment early about the remap causing issues?

Other than voiding any warranty my advice is always to remember that these mills are already pumping out a lot of power for their cubic capacity.

There’s no such thing as a free lunch as the saying goes.

If the engine came stock with 500hp there’d be a mod out in weeks to offer 550.

It’s something that’s never interested me but I am not the norm I’ve come to accept.

Negotiated on a SDV6 2014 today - got to a good price although obvisouly had alot of off road dirt and then I looked at the chassis and saw the rust... I was advised by my friend to walk away from an otherwise good deal.. had bullbar, red arc towing, roof racks, SE spec etc... 67'000kms
Is this rust a deal killer?

That’s purely surface rust. Replace the bolt , clean back and paint again. In fact it wouldn’t matter if you left it but honestly it’s nothing. It’s clearly seen the sea a couple of times but honestly, it wouldn’t be a killer for me. If you’re compromising on spec etc then walk, but if everything is perfect including the price, then don’t let that bother you.

Yep I second that, mine looks the same underneath at first glance but I’ve checked it thoroughly and it’s just a result of stones from the road and surface rust that follows

My 2007 looks like that, but it spent the first couple of its years in the UK on salty roads, so it's expected. As long as it's surface rust I wouldn't worry about it.

My D3 looks like that at 524,000kms. As mentioned previously, I wouldn’t worry too much about surface rust.
