Interestingly I was reading the paper the other day and hi-lux was cheaper than BT50, Ranger, Ammorok and one other.

Just done 300 000 k's in mine,its going in the next week or so,has been pleasurable,comfortable,not ugly or rough,and never had a repair,ever.

Sure my LR's have been ultra comfortable,but very expensive to maintain,and definitely no where near as reliable.And the D4 isn't that pleasing to the eye.....but thats all personnel preferences.

Anyway,back on topic,i didn't mind Tombie either,sure he had his own views on things,rubbed a few up the wrong way,but geez,its a public forum,so thats what you get.If you don't like it,move on.

And he had a lot of knowledge that he shared with others on here,which is what its all about.

It won't be long,i bet he will be back.

Tombie never offended me with any post he made. I cannot recall him saying anything offensive.

There are a number of members here who do offend me.

There is a simple way to avoid this.....ignore them, You no longer see their posts.

I have a few members on ignore , it doesn't change the thread one bit not to see their post.

Control is a wonderful option.

Along with Mike, I miss Ben/isuzurover, I miss Dougal, I miss John/bush65.
Add in Pete Simpson, Eric/the109....
If I start thinking about it there will be a stack of others, too.
I can't say I miss uninformed even though he's hardly ever on here as we're going to climb a mountain on the weekend. [emoji23]

Offend you? Are they personally attacking you, your beliefs, culture, family??? In what way???
Unless they are then I think your choosing to be offended. A difference of opinion does not necessarily constitute "offending" someone.
