So long, and thanks for all the fish. I'll miss some of you, even you, bee utey....
Well I've often thought of leaving, lasted over two weeks away one time, but then the curiosity bug bit again and I'm back until the next disappointment. You'll be back too once you again feel the burning desire to talk dirty tech.

Don't go mate.... I find when it gets to me a bit, I step back from the contentious discussions...have a bit of a break, don't get too involved, just get the popcorn and watch others poke **** at each other!! ...works for me.

Sorry but I don’t get it. If you don’t like what you read, ignore it and move on. We are all different, with differing views. Sometimes I don’t agree with someone so I just ignore the thread and move on. But that’s just me.

it's there in black and white, it isnt something i made up

you think you have been treated unfairly by a moderator because you got a warning months ago and you were sniping at him...

i called you on it when you started off again.

shame your taking it personally but sadly it is what it is.

    your refund has been sent...

    enjoy your night.

I'm sorry to hear about Tombie, for some reason I thought he was holidaying in Thailand. Hopefully he is just taking a break from the forum.

    me too

there is no way in a hell a place with 20k members and over 6k super regular users isn't going to have some sort of clique(s)

personally i think there are about 10 of them at least

    one prefers social posts

another prefers technical posts on series i vehicles

    it goes on an on

    my favourite ?

the one that prefers to think i am somehow becoming a millionaire making people pay to post in some areas here

the mods and admins are constantly trying to do the right thing in a way that helps diminish any chance of the us and them bit happening

i am not aware of any clique that goes out of it's way to affect others but i may have missed it i suppose...

luckily we don't all think alike so there are going to be perceptions out there that we are not aware of...

I’m fairly new on here (about 9 months) and have only just (last week, after months of looking) got myself a D4, so now, more than ever, need the kind of advice and experience that you guys bring to this forum. I have to say I always enjoyed and appreciated Tombie’s comments. Huge knowledge, eloquent and to the point I thought. So I miss him...
    Cheers
