This place, just like everywhere else on the net evolves and changes - the types of users and types of conversations vary. I know in the 15 or so years I've been around here, many of us have had times their interest has dropped off - I wandered away for some time.

I think you'll find Mike has just decided that he has more important things to do at the moment....

I hope he returns one day..... but much of his knowledge is still available here for those that can use the search functions - and there are a heap of other knowledgeable users still here

thats a fair comment.
at the same time i think vern has hit the nail on the head with select few members being the issue.
so combination of things.

I was born in Noble Park, Moved to Rowville, then Merbein (mildura), then St Albans, then Sunshine, Then Clayton, Then Noble Park again and finally Churchill for the past 3 or 4 years.

Yea thats me. Moved a few other places within that sort of area but thats the general idea.

Its a fairly rude thing to type, phrased as a question or not.

Lots of people leave, well over 99% of them of their own choice.
Lots of knowledgable people stay too, some even like the place.
