There are a number of members here who do offend me.

There is a simple way to avoid this.....ignore them, You no longer see their posts.

I have a few members on ignore , it doesn't change the thread one bit not to see their post.

Control is a wonderful option.

I have been tempted to do that on another forum I haunt, but that would deprive me of their (forehead/palm-slapping hilarious) idiocy...
- I just don't 'bite' ... and merely repeat the 'offending' comments, but use different word and/or 'inoffensive &/or double-negative and convoluted phrasing.
so far - So good !

Or I occasionally use the Old Norse (?) proverb, of 'Say nothing unless it improves the Silence'

I thought Tombie was always straight forward and honest, nothing wrong with that, and yeah the internet and such, well this sums up my thoughts...

the funny thing is at least one of those mentioned caused at least 2 and probably 3 of the others mentioned to vacate the premises

it's an evolving world, and this place is no different.

people are way less tolerent of other peoples views than what they were way back when this place kicked off.

not to mention the subscription model being brought in..

that scattered a few as well....

you all can't be that bad when it's all said and done because this place seems to have survived and prospered much better than many of the others that used to be out there..

so you can all give yourselves a pat on the back IMHO
