go Genuine for piece of mind or at least something like Terrafirma for aftermarket. Chinese unbranded cheapies will give you aches
I had these on my D1 and found them to work well, i have seen some on ebay but wary about the UV resistance of the cheapies.
Anyone fitted them sourced from ebay or elsewhere ?

The ones on the doors? I bought some off eBay a couple of years back, they've been fine. I'll hunt down the supplier.

I've been thinking of these for the front doors of the "D" and just hope they're not like the Tojo something or other I saw today. He had little black ones on all doors and they all had TOYOTA in white letters on them. Plus his roof rack had it, plus this and that had it ..... about 10 badges in all telling the world it was a tojo.
Bit off topic that but I couldn't resist it.

My work van had them, they were a no cost option, and i sprayed them with a can of UV protection stuff.I think it came from Supercheap or Auto Barn.
Ten years old and still going strong.

I bought a set of the Terra Firma ones off eBay for 80 bucks delivered, they fit beautifully and I think look great plus allow you to keep the windows open 80-100 mm in the rain for fresh air.
Cheaper and better (imho) than the genuine ones
The adhesive is super strong, so be precise when fitting! You only get one shot at sticking them on.
One drawback is the view around the A pillar changes a bit, so you have to get used to that, but minor in comparison to the benefits they offer.
Cheers,
Eric
