I bought the Garmin DriveSmart 61 LMT-S. Main reason was functionality and a good size screen which I can glance at and read easily when I want to (about 7" from memory) and excellent reviews. Cost a bit but I am very happy with it.

Certainly looks the goods. Probably would have opted for that if it was around when I bought mine. Having the HEMA maps installed would be a handy feature.

Hi there, yes I managed to get this and the DAB working. You just need to go through the settings and change location to Australia, if I recall it automatically know the signal mode. You need to Ďsearchí channels though the first time you use it. Mines all sorted now save for the sat nav. And I know everyone reckons I should get a Garmin, but Iím not going to. I canít stand the wires or crap hanging off my windscreen. So Iíll find a way to get the maps on the original screen.

Everything is personal preference. Doesn't matter what we think, you're the one driving your car. Hope you get it sorted.

If you can get Apple Carplay or Android Auto to work, there's a stack of mapping software you can use.
