Mine's just visible, perhaps it's a driver / seat height issue.
I also use mine as a reference point.

Still prefer black. The white looks smart though
I too have been considering the addition of an ARB Bull Bar Type Bumper and winch mount onto my US-Market, '16 LR4 until recently learning of ProSpeed UK's new hidden winch mount and bull-bar type lamp mount for the Discovery/LR 3/4's of which we hit the market next month (Feb 2019). Clearly the ProSpeed will not provide the front-end collision protection of which a true bull bar does but it is a viable alternative to someone seeking to have both a hidden winch mount and a bar type mount for aux. lighting.
Having already pre-purchased it, I'm awaiting ProSpeed to start shipping them (next month) and at present, trying to decide if I'll leave the lamp bar black as it comes or have it painted to match the Fuji White exterior color of my LR4. As for now, I'm leaning toward the black as it will pickup on the other ProSpeed items already installed, i.e. Roof Rack & Rock & Tree Sliders as well as the existing OEM black trim.
Below is my "mock-up" of what the final "end product" might look like in terms of the white vs. black. Note: plans also include having the matte (non-gloss) dark topside center masking ( in a dark gray/silver'ish tone) done as also rendered in the photos.

Below are some additional comparison photos of the ProSpeed and ARB set-ups.

I have a white (colour coded) ARB bar on my 2010 D4.
I had a black ARB bar on my dark blue D1.
I think the black bars look more 'rugged' - contrast with the paint colour, pick up the tyres etc...
I think the white/colour coded bars are 'nicer' on the eye - the D4 has much less black trim so the bar just 'blends in' with the rest of the vehicle.
Both ARB bars had a couple of (very small) areas that showed a slight brown/rust stain after 6-12mths. It didn't get any worse, and was in very tight corners (normally where the top horizontal tube joins the main front supports).
It is more noticeable on the white, obviously, but you can only see it if you're looking for it.
Found a photo - but the car's a bit dirty (sorry!)...

Hi Lukeis. Some more photos for you but no black pack sorry. Vehicle is fitted with grey GEO rims but can't see them well in these shots. Photos were taken by local Opposite Lock outlet after fitment - they thought it looked pretty good. I still like the white bar and can only just see the driver's side upright and corner - I'm 5' 10" and have the seat raised pretty well.
Cheers, Jock

I prefer the black bar on a white vehicle any day. I do have some photos of other white D4's with both black and white bars fitted, but won't post them here without the owners' knowledge.
Tombie's D4 is almost identical to mine, except it has a set of after-market black mag rims fitted, with a black ARB winch bar.
LandyAndy's D4 has the dark grey Compomotive rims fitted, and has a white Opposite Lock bar - looks very different to mine due to the colour of the bar.

I went for a black OL bar plus safari snorkel etc. after nearly chatting to a local ARB bloke who told me "You can get all that info. off the internet"! And there was me thinking that was what sales people were there for. Silly me.
Anyway, went for black as I think white looks a bit anaemic. I've also got the standard wheels and have resisted going for black 18" replacements for 2 reasons. One they're too expensive and two, the supplier doesn't seem to be supplying anymore.
But at the long weekend I saw another club member with Tuffants in black and they looked good. Price seems about right as well so when I've worn the Maxxis 19" rubber out I'm seriously thinking of a set.
Black bar, black rack and black wheels on white body should make an already good looking vehicle all the better...... plus the girls will all love me a bit more.![]()
"Yeah right" as my G/son would say.
