results. more power, and better initial acceleration from a start. just seems more urgent in acceleration.
Same as mine, also less turbo lag,and pulls up hills a lot better.

My fuel economy is about the same, but the only down side is SWMBO seems to be wearing out the brakes quicker

I've done a lot of tune / egr delete and apart from the power increase customers say fuel economy around town is way better, round 9.7L/100KM.
The blanking kits work on D3 / D4, just not needed on a D4 once its been tuned.
And as I always say to anyone getting a tune done, ask for the dyno results, just saying "oh you get xx power kw and xx NM" when you fork out the big bucks to me is not good enough. Show me factual dyno info before and after tune.

I always get dyno results before the tune and after and if I am doing something else that I have decided to try then its often 3 dyno runs so I'm sure the mod I'm doing is going to be a good thing.

Is it worth removing the EGR system though so less dead weight and by passing the cooling so less chance of future corrosion and leaking issues?

    Less dead weight?

Want less corrosion issues, change coolant out more often.
