Can of worms opened. ..here we go
Hi there, the D4 is getting new tyres so I am wanting a wheel alignment done. Perhaps someone has had a positive experience with a wheel alignment done on their Land Rover in Castlemaine, Kyneton or Bendigo Vic. Should you wish to share your glowing recommendation I'd be pleased to hear it.

Yes I agree about the can of worms.
I cannot answer the OPs question but if the wear on the old tyres was fine do not do a wheel alignment.
If there was abnormal wear get an alignment.

After researching the "Can of Worms" I was very nervous of using a local tyre shop, but as as I needed a wheel alignment desperately after replacing the LCA's I bit the bullet yesterday as I'm a long way from a LR dealer. The result appears to be very satisfactory at this stage, it helps if you are confident that the guy seems to know what he is doing with the latest equipment though. Nick
I had mine redone by the local stealers tyre outlet next door to them and am well pleased with the result. After 15K there's no undue wear on the new Maxxis I had fitted.
They really took their time not like the previous lot I had supposedly checking and adjusting for outer tread wear at the front.... max. of 5 mins in the workshop and that was it.

However the OP is in Castlemaine, Victoria...
is there anyone who can help with their question??
cheers
David
If the tyre guy doesn't know what Tight Tolerance Mode is and doesn't have a tool to get the car into TTM, I wouldn't use them. If they talk about leaving doors open or any other weird stuff like pulling fuses ... forget it.
However, I imagine there are a lot of places out there that are more than capable without having to use LR.
