    Related question, sort of.

I was driving up the road the other day and randomly my passenger window opened itself. It did this three times on the same drive

After a minor delay I was able to put it up again.

Weird, anyone else had a ghost in their car?

Sort of - If window is partially opened and receives a jolt it will auto open thinking it has trapped a body part.

You notice it when opening or closing on even a slightly bumpy gravel road.

I've never had that happen, but I know the car doesn't go to sleep if the windows are left open.

That I was not aware of, so if I leave a couple of windows cracked or sunroof open all day on a hot day then the car starts awake,?

When raising the window tap down on the top of the glass to simulate it hitting some obstruction. It should auto lower.

All other window systems use torque measurement. I’d be very surprised if LR have deviated from that. When it sense a torque level over normal when closing it determines it’s obstructed and reverses to base.

Window was definitely closed all the way but i think you might be correct that it thought it was returning to base.

Under whay circumstances could this function kick in on a closed window?

That's what I understand, would be interesting to monitor battery levels with Windows all closed vs one open.
