opinion sought on these tyres

Fitting a tyre with lower load rating than the manufacturer states can have warranty and insurance implications. I would investigate further if I were you.

totally agree. Tyres are something I never skimp on. Simply not worth the risks as noted above.

And the T speed rating is way under the Y rating specified on the tyre placard for 20” wheels.

The placard speed rating is not the minimum for 4wd vehicles in Australia which IIRC is N.

Had them on a D2 and they did not wear well..I suspect they are soft. Local tyre shop said they are often original on new cars cause they are cheap. Mmm but arnt they made in Germany?
