    GAP IID Tool help

So my 2014 TDV6 threw up a brake pad low warning on the dash. As this could be front left or rear right I thought I’d put the gap tool on for some help before pulling wheels off. But to my surprise it did not register a fault at all. It displayed numerous low level communication faults that cleared but nothing to do with brakes.
So in this instance am I correct that this isn’t a fault but a warning and therefore doesn’t register or is there deeper areas I need to go?
BTW the front sensor wire had worn through by rubbing the inside of the rim. New one coming up.
    Cheers

You are correct, brake pad warnings aren't reported as a fault.

Beauty. Thanks for help. I’ve really only used it for suspension and to program a key. Been lucky not to have any faults. Cheers
