D4 Battery Replacement

Okay people, the saga is over.
Battery was actually labelled incorrectly and was not the amp hours it said. While not really the shops fault I got my money back and went to the LR expert here in Mackay who I have found out about. He has just had these new batteries come in. Alco Batteries $336.40. Glad I have found him. His knowledge is scary but reassuring

Old battery definitely on last legs. Wouldn't hold charge and only just cranked it over.

My battery recently died (original, 1 month warranty left) through lack of use and not keeping it charged. Replaced by RACQ under warranty with one of theirs, 2 yer warranty, he knew what he was doing as there was some fiddling about but he fitted my ctek comfort fitting to the fuse box\body as well for future charging without lifting that bloody lid off the battery. Just found the D3 site with that plug for the rear, looks the goods to use with my solar panel.
