That's a neat install. Has anyone done a write up on getting a cable loom from there down behind the dash?

I used Mark's excellent thread for a dash cam install to help run a multicore cable from back to front and across to the overhead console.
This route includes getting to the fuses behind the glovebox if required.
Other than that, there's heaps of info about centre console and dash removal if you need access there as well.

Folks, got an update for you.

I decided that I would clean up and try to bleach the plastic after I was done working on it.

After a LOT of carefull cutting, filing and measuring, this is the end result:

    BEFORE:

    After:
    photo_2019-06-07_13-49-50.jpg photo_2019-06-07_13-49-59.jpg photo_2019-06-07_13-50-03.jpg photo_2019-06-07_13-50-08.jpg

In the end it didn't look as OEM as I hoped but it still looks great. I wish I could find "contersunk" style switches but I just couldn't find them.

I don't mind, as the switches are not THAT tall, they don't protrude that much into the roof and there is a LOT of space to work with behind this piece.

Now it's time to wire these to that fusebox you guys saw earlier.
