I can’t help with the brackets, but the large swinging weights at the rear are to reduce NVH. They are also know as Disco Balls.
Greetings fellow Land Rover owners.
I have rebuilt a SDV6 3.0 - new crankshaft and shells etc, I did take a large number of photos, but cannot work out where these brackets go. Somewhere on the rear of the engine I thought near the rear belt but just cannot work out where they go, so was wondering if anyone who had stripped a motor down knew.
Also, does anyone know what the large steel weight are at the back of the cars chassis - just out of interest

Those brackets look like the ones that carry the steel cross over pipe over and behind the engine, over the HPFP. they also hold numerous cables and hoses up off the manifolds etc.
I have a 2015 with a spun bearing, I would be very interested to hear how you engine goes after the rebuild.
Hi guys, I have a 2011 sdv6 that has just broken the crank. Just out of interest wondering if anyone has had there block damaged beyond repair and
if you where able to have the bearing line bored and new bearings and cranks fitted. I was looking at the new forged cranks and the new high volume
oil pump (Extra 19.5 pump made in russia).
