My tip would be to pull the drum off (you need to remove the caliper to do this but that's easy), give it a good clean out with compressed air and brake cleaner, lube the pivots with lithium grease, replace drum then adjust until the drum can't move, and back off 2 clicks.

This is because I've found a decent layer of dust and dirt caked on the inside of the drum, so the adjustment would be off. Just did mine that way both sides for the first time in about 80,000km, no issues. Park brake actuation is smooth and noiseless.
I've done this procedure a few times since getting my Disco and I've always been confused. What exactly does 2 clicks mean? I think I've always taken the screwdriver I've been using 2 full movements. Do other people hear or feel clicks?

The knurled winder bumps against the spring inside so you feel it clicking (jumping) over the spring wire.

Exactly what he said. Backing it off two clicks or 2 jumps over the spring. If you have a camper or caravan with drum brakes, the setup on the adjuster is similar.

It’s essentially each knurl on the nut. Eight back on the nut relates to eight of the notches on the winder.

Indie I spoke to yesterday reckons he backs off 10 clicks, Bodsysies bible reckons 8. I'll go with 8 tomorrow when I adjust it finally.
Can anyone confirm the drum nut size as being 32mm? I've got a socket that size but it won't go on so it's either too short or is a couple of mm too small.

Pretty sure it’s 32mm but maybe need 12 point not 6 point socket.

I just did mine last week. I used 8 clicks as I always have. It is now noticeably quicker to engage so it must have been out of spec. I find it a rewarding bit of maintenance

I'll do the same with 8 clicks tomorrow but check socket size first. If I have to get a deeper socket that's OK as the 32 fits the oil filter so it won't go unused.
    Thnx for the advices.
