That's interesting. Stuckeys is a performance wheel and tyre specialist and many car clubs and racing clubs use and support them. They have a good reputation.

Just found these, listed on Gumtree and Facebook in Perth. 5 Compomotives with Mickey Thompson tyres for $2K.

I was contemplating a set of 5 Pirelli ATR Plus to replace my OEM Wranglers when the time comes in a year or so, to complement my spare set of rims with Maxxis 980s...but the Pirelli tyres would be close to $2K alone.

Quite tempting...

Price looks reasonable. I got 5 with Cooper AT3 (about 40-50% left on 4 and a pretty stuffed 5th) for $1800.00 from Mackay. Plus transport (was only able to do deal as the company I work for has a workshop in Mackay and they packed and dropped at transport for me) of $400.00. Didn't think they'd come up very often on GT so went to the trouble of grabbing them. Pretty good deal at these prices if you think about. 5x$550=$2750. Plus Circa $300 for tyres. $4250.00 to buy new.

Bummer! If only they were in black. I'm in the market for a set.

Stuckey's have sold out their recent shipment. Next one due "late September".

If you're really keen to get them you can order them direct from Compomotive UK. Don't know what it would cost though.

Paint them? Mine have been painted mat black. Look fine.

They don't sell direct but it has been possible to source from UK distributors in recent years.
However, that's likely no longer worthwhile if there's an Aus distributor now.
