Ok, so I've got this fun P0915-00 (2F) gearshift position - circuit range/performance fault that I cant clear. Ok the story so far. Jumped in the D3 this afternoon and straight off the bat I had the low range green dash indicator flashing along with a few other fault lights lit up. Had a transmission fault message (cant remember excatly what it said). Low/High range lights at the selector flashing. Restarted the car a couple of times to no avail. During the restarting process I could hear clicking under the car. Anyway drove to the young fellas soccer training and while he was doing that I plugged in the IID tool and scanned the codes. Mostly my normal fault codes, but the transfer had a single P186D-00 (28) Clutch actuator stuck code logged. Had a quick google search and decided to attempt to calibrate the transfer clutch, but nothing. Anyway I get it home and due to the noises I heard and the original fault code I've pulled the transfer shift motor, which I found to have a worn gear wheel where the motor worn gear runs - that would be the clicking when the gear is skipping a tooth. Had a play around at it seems I've only got wear on one half of the gear wheel so figured I may be able to spin the gear to run on the other half while I get a spare ordered. Plugged everything back in and now that P0915-00 (2F) fault is up on the transfer and I cant clear it. Any ideas?
I've tried to do another clutch calibration, but I cant calibrate the high/low shift as the fault code will not allow me to make the high/low selection.
Tried a hard reset, no luck there either
