D4 - how to use variable speed windscreen wiper?

I removed it from the D4 then from the L322. My son Justin who now has the D4 refitted the fuse but disabled speed-related wiper speed in the CCF. My biggest gripe was the wipers going crazy after a few wipes when travelling between 80 and 100 kph, which Justin said now doesn't occur.
I've disabled the extra sweep in the CCF as most times the screen is dry without any drips.

I did that as well but it disabled the headlight delay feature which I liked.

I had never used the headlight delay so I wasn't aware of that.

Bugger, quiet a fan of the headlight delay as it illuminates the walk from the carport to the house door.


Maybe I need to start looking at these CCFs. I’ve avoided playing with them this far out of concern for being able to damage something.

According to my owners manual, fuse 31 is for the rain sensor and the auxiliary lamp switch. Does anyone know what the auxiliary lamp switch is exactly?

Um, yeah, what exactly is the aux lamp?

You guys can’t adapt to the adaptive speed?
I find it excellent in heavy rain.

Use Silicone wiper blades and some Rain X and it is the best set up I’ve ever used.

Interesting question!

I’ve tried a few of the top end ones.
And I’m a huge supporter of crowd funding and have got some good gear from it.

So I went and funded these:
KIMBLADE

Turns out they work better than anything I’ve tried before.
