Yeah I know but with the new struts the car isn't as planted over rough roads. I dont think I'll get very far calling the supplier for a refund as they technically work, so I'm looking for other options.

    Graeme,

I am so glad I read your post. I'm not going crazy. I bought BWI struts from Rimmer Bros.

Replaced, because the car was try to kill me on country roads.

But now we feel a little sick driving the car, because it's so damn stiff and steers instead of dampens.

Done 80xxx on the BWI struts.

Can you please tell me part numbers for 2012 struts if that's what I should replace with?

Duckworth I assume I should be getting a quote from.

    Thanks

    Disco-tastic,

Did you solve your problem with dampening?

Where should I get the correct Struts?

    Cheers

    Hi Jeremy.

I ended up discovering that the main issue with mine was that the front left strut was faulty. I only noticed because it started to weep oil. The seller replaced it and it has been way better. Its definitely a firmer ride but I'm not sure if that's because they are D4 spec or not.

My understanding is that BWI brand struts are the way to go. I cant say if they're better or worse than the ones i got as i havent used them.

    Cheers

    Dan
