EPB was telling me it was time for adjustment (beeping at me when I’d start the car - indicates tension loss while parked).
Took around 30 minutes. Wheels off, blow out drum with air compressor through adjustment hole (wow, so much crud (don’t breath it in!)), adjust as per the
Bible, done. Meant to be an annual task for me but life got in the way last year so it’s two years since.

    No Faults!

GAP 11D BT tool arrived and after help from the youngest daughter we set it up for the D4 SC.

Plugged it in and scanned the 20 plus ecus........and for the first time for me.......NO Faults!

Certainly not the case with the now sold D2 TD5😐

So we happily checked out the Tool features inc suspension settings and so on.

Later we impressed some folk by using the air suspension to disconnect and reconnect the nag float. No more winding the troublesome jocky wheel😉

    Gotta love this car.

Like INTer674 I’m also impressed by the air suspension. We put 400kg of tiles in the back, started the car with the doors open, then closed the doors and watched the car return to normal ride height. Far out, it’s much faster than the D2 was! It shot to like a rocket!

Is it wouldn’t have been so much work we would have reloaded it so the tile sales dude could have been impressed to.

This may have been covered already but I noted using the GAP Tool cancels the speed alert and the auto up function on the front windows.
To restore: drop the windows then raise them. Let go the switch then lift the switch for 4 secs. Do it for all windows as needed.

Fitted new wiper blades and adjusted the drivers side arm so it no longer annoyingly hits the a-pillar. Quiet and no juddering.
