So it seems to me the Zip kit is all the springs shims and collars etc. while you still need to get the genuine solenoids from ZF.

Having done the valve body rebuild, I think if you skip on the vacuum tests and the possible need to ream and replace some valves (not DIY), you may not have the best end result.
Mine was done and started out really well, but now shifts worse than before [emoji2369]

Fitted an Xlifter. Great bit of kit. As easy to change heights on the fly as Llams. I do a lot of camping, and I sleep in my car. The self levelling feature is the main reason for this purchase.
And it works flawlessly, it utilises the full suspension travel. If you don’t use the leveling feature then I don’t think it is worth the extra coin over llams.

Make sure vehicle is parked level.
Remove lower cover.
Adhere the units heavy duty hook tape to existing module.
Fit XLifter vertically
Unplug original ecu and connect loom between Xlifter and factory unit.
Power up vehicle and Xlifter
Run set up - RHD
Calibrate sequence runs
Done
