We turned the drive off when we bought it, just putting the actuator replacement down to wear and tear.
The same as the actuator on the upper tailgate with the kids always opening doors.

New FYRLYT converters fitted.

These ones have a bit of extra capacity for ‘reasons’ [emoji41]
The 2 modules are step-up converters.
They take 12v and output 24v (closer to 27v) and in this case at up to 400w.
I use them to power my FYRLYT as I was running Nemesis which use 24v bulbs. And delivers 9000 lumen per light.
I’m now testing a new version which are doing 12000 lumen per light.
Just received notification my Tuff-Rok order and new wheel are on their way.
Happy days!
Was going to PM you but you’re settings won’t allow PM.
Is this the light that you’re talking about? That’s crazy bright. I’m assuming that you’re happy with them?

That’s the ones.
I was a beta tester, first set outside the company staff. Best lights out there for performance at the moment. And the owners keep pushing the envelope - once LED tech catches up they may switch - but until then nothing beats the CRI of Xenonphot.
I have a new set of their latest craziness. Even brighter again - 33% more output per light - its starting to get the current draw right up there though, although the D4 produces more than enough to handle it easy.
I’m up around 12000 per light now.
If you want a set of 9000s let me know. (I’ll change my PM settings)
New shoes. A set of Maxxis 771’s in LT285/60/18 112/119s 10PR, fitted over Tuff Ant Steel Gen 1 wheels. Bought 2nd hand off a friend with a decent amount of tread.
A 32” that doesn’t rub anywhere and I can still use access mode.
Nice!

It took us the half hour drive out to Fogg Dam. Not much birdlife but plenty of water after 1050mm of rain since 1 Dec.
Oh it brought us home too [biggrin]
My brand new turbo arrived from the UK, and after ringing around to see who can fit onto the Tdv6 3L, one LR mechanics (indie) stated body off other indie states can be done with body on. Has anyone else had a turbo on the 3L changed (the primary one) on the pass side with body on or off please. Or anyone else with direct experience working on this at home diy? cheers
btw ordered my turbo from UK last Tues arrived today less then 1wk (6days total) WOW that's fast. Parcel went from UK to Canada, LA then to Sydney - imagined how quick if it went direct to Sydney [bigsmile]
