A nice cruise thru SW WA , pics don’t do the tree size justice EF13827A-4099-4A39-95C4-A9109ED80309.jpg
It was even good to feel cold after many decades in the heat of the tropics

finally was able to clear the faults yesterday so was able to drive to work today. Fingers crossed
I was driving on Tuesday with what sounded like a flat - but the tyres were all OK and I couldn't see anything amiss.
Came out next morning to a very flat tyre and the culprit now visible:

First morning it was cold enough for the Fuel Burning Heater (FBH, not ****ing Big Hammer) to fire (since I fixed it anyway). Smells a bit like Avgas when it sparks up. Nice to have heat by the time I hit the end of the road rather than just warming up as I reach the destination.
Gotta be some perk of having a UK import to offset the light underbody corrosion I suppose.
Did some more today and had some black marine carpet lying about so covered the two drawer faces with carpet and black plastic handles which i have used in the past and work well. just waiting on the delivery of the sliders to make up the drawers. carpet was a nice fit folded over and cut the corners for a nice finish and worked well, always nervous cutting the corners out so not to expose any timber underneath.
some additional supports mounted to the sides to support another top to fill in the sides. these are just loosely sitting in position.
