What happened to your D3/D4 today?

Added a drifta roof top tent. Quite impressed with the quality. Roof top tent plus the self leveling function of the xlifter is a match made in haven.

With 2 kids I've never been in the roof top market, bit I've always admired that design. Just looks awesome.. The X lifter gives you something I can only achieve with lots of driving to find the perfect spot .. Well done

Excellent thoughts and points from everyone thankyou.
In the few seconds it was happening and driving down a very narrow street which required drivers to look for a suitable space between parked cars if close so as to allow an oncoming car to proceed etc etc I didn't get the opportunity to move my Scanguage which is sitting behind the steering wheel and blocking view to the dash info which tells you that 'manual' shift (paddles) has been selected.
So, as some have said, it was quite possibly the fact that I'd knocked a paddle inadvertently. Only time will tell and I'll look closer if it re-occurs. At this point in time I don't think it necessary to look deeper into the trans solenoids etc.

Sleeping in the back must have gotten old hey, that is a very slim tent.

I had enough trouble climbing off the bed in my camper with a belly full of beer. A rooftop tent looks like a recipe for disaster for me [emoji1787]

Revitalised the plastic trim with Turtle Wax Jet Black Endura Shine. Applied 3 coats all up to the wheel arches, bumpers, and side trim. Before I started, the wheel arches were a lighter colour than the tyres.
