Cooper AT3s on it when purchased. Nothing wrong with them for normal use, but not built for some of my use. They had also passed their safe, 'Use By' date.

It got a new plate and managed the trip to and from the DoT without breaking down.

They wouldn't let me have FCKCANCER (apparently the combination of letters might be offensive to "certain members of the community").
Green was his favourite colour, "Meanie" was what he called the people he loved the most and he was 5 when he died on the 5th of June.
**** I miss him.
Now I need some decent plate protectors that have some form of rigid backing and cover rather than the expensive self adhesive garbage they sell at supercrap. The rear plate is held on by the top 2 screws only and I know it'll crack if I don't put some form of decent support there. I've already lost one plate to the top mounts breaking off and that was pressed steel. This is acrylic. I'd rather not punch another 2 holes in the back door if I can avoid it, and the bottom holes in the front plate hang below the mount anyway, so there's nothing to screw it to.
I think that is a well thought out and fitting tribute to the little guy.
PS. Your first plate idea was excellent!
Not today but yesterday when out in the Moore River area north of Perth, the Disco went into what I think was limp mode when I was bogged coming out of the river after lifting my foot too soon.... also on a flat bit of deep sand further on which I'd driven on a couple of weeks previously with no problems at all.
I was told by an onlooker that the front left wheel wasn't turning whilst trying to exit the river bank, then on the other stretch later on the vehicle just stopped and no go for a while until snatched by a mate and maxtrax were used.
I put the GAP toll on it today and it showed a logged fault No. P0528-00 as a fan fault. Is it possible there was a shut down due to overheating somewhere?
Forgot to say car was in sand mode and the DSC was off.

Found these : KINGPIN - BACKING PLATES STANDARD - SINGLE - Autopro
My local Autopro had them in stock (they're awesome and have no hesitation ordering anything I want ). They then have matching clear covers. On the front I've used 4 #10ga stainless screws and on the back I've used "big" screws in the standard UK plate mounts. Neither are going anywhere soon.
I was worried more about the back to be honest. I'd already lost one plate to metal fatigue in the corners, so I needed something a bit more sturdy.

I’ve had the led strips in the upper tailgate and inside the awning bag for a while but today it got another strip on the outer edge of the awning. Ran the wire through the seam of the canvas so it just rolls up with the fabric.
Cant help with the code, someone else will chime in no doubt.
Usually in limp mode,a light will come up on the dash.
If in limp mode, due to a gearbox issue, the vehicle wont change gears properly or in low range, will often stay in 4th.
Had that happen to mine a couple of times.Orange Gearbox light on dash will also be on.
