A little hard to gauge the colour in a picture, but it looks pretty awesome. I tried to get as close to the factory grey as possible. Ended up using anthracite grey.

New tyres today. Maxxis razr MT. Same size, 275/65r18. Excellent looking tyres. Found out I had another slow puncture with the nitto ridge grappler, that’s 3 in one trip. They were 4 ply, and just didn’t cut it. But damn were they nice on the Highway. The maxxis are louder, don’t roll as smooth, but are just as soft over the bumps even though they are 10 ply. We’ll see how they go.
it was underneath, but I had some trouble getting to it when I had a couple of punctures on the beach in SA. Decided to move it into the rear storage area

wait a sec! So [before you moved it into the car] did the 275/65r18 fit in the spare wheel well under the car (deflated?)?!?! if so that gives me a few more options for tyres! I was under the impression 265/65/18 was probably the largest to fit under the car deflated.

fitted a "carbuilders” under bonnet insulation kit today. Got sick of looking at the old one. Detailed the engine bay while I was at it.
The old girl got a detail for the first time in 12 years. Very unhappy - all my hard earned bush pin-striping has gone!
