I've never understood this. Every vehicle I've ever had anything to do with had the pickup at the base of the tank. The whole "don't run it low because you'll pick up grunge" has never made sense to me. The only thing I could think of was a bit of shallow slop knocking stuff loose if you run it too low, but then you're implying the tank lets stuff settle and sit undisturbed.Quote:
