Cameras helped us. We caught the little bastards!
We have Alexa at home and the cameras loudly notified me there was a person outside.

    Caught and arrested.

Refitted my Traxide SC80 battery isolator today which for some reason had stopped working. After many helpful phone calls to Tim (Drivesafe) he asked me to send it back and found that the control board had somehow been zapped. Three years old, all done under warranty, fabulous support and service. Thanks Tim.

Now to tidy up the wiring for my CelFi Go phone booster.

So you don't think he was a concerned neighbour just checking we had locked the car and house up properly? Heh heh....

HD security cameras make a big difference. The image I posted was just a screen capture from my phone which only plays back at a lower resolution. Playback from the system to a HD monitor is even clearer.

The Ring Door Bell camera is also a good investment. Caught a real clear view of his face - better than what I posted here. I just needed to turn the alert volume up next time.

    Detects movement and records regardless.

Can even differentiate if the motion is a person and lets you know they are approaching the front door. Perfect for when couriers just drop off a missed delivery card without ringing the door bell.....

The Ring Camera started recording as soon as the person approached the car before they even came towards the front door. I just had the alert volume set too low.

Whereas the main security cameras record continuously, the Ring Camera is set up to only record when motion is detected. Combining the two systems makes for a better set up.

We bought at 217K and from what we were told the second engine at that stage had done about 75K, so now up to about 160K.
