There is a thread on here from LRD414 who did the install of LEDs, I had the parts but never got to it (done now).

The second one - Fyrlyt has upgraded to Borosilicate Glass lenses which solves some issues they had early on.

I've had Fyrlyts on my D4 for 5.5 years and the lenses had become discoloured. Rang Paul at Fyrlyt in S.A. and he told me about the new lenses and sent me a replacement set at a very good price. Excellent customer service. It was one of the reasons I bought these lights. All the parts can be individually replaced.

I run three sets, two at work and one on the bench at home.

Was supplied the new lenses at no cost, which given a premium product should be the case.

    The originals

    The replacements

I admired my window glass handiwork today, as yesterday when I rinsed the dust off from this weekend's dirt road trip, I decided to be very careful and not use the hose on the windows except the tailgate of course. Normally I'm left with watermarks but, none today.

Went for a drive, did what i had to do and drove home.
Gave the transfer case a bit of a workout, played with traction control settings and generally had fun.

The EAS is not just great off road, as yesterday evening on my way home I stopped behing a hatchback, that had the once fashionable tail lights which have the lenses separated into all the components, I think this makes them more focused/brighter. Unfortunately the indicator was shining directly into my eyes at a very long traffic light, so I crept up as near as I dared (my D3 doesn't have the front camera/park sensors) to block it out, but a semi-circle of light was still blinking in my vision, so I raised the suspension which blocked it out totally!

    300,000kms + roo

well - been a long road for the big girl.
    IMG_0386.jpg

despite hitting a roo last week - its still good well - until the service. Little external damage - knocked a fog light surround out - 2 park sensors and one front camera.. all good - plug that back in ... but nope - behind the front plastic bar - shelf/etc etc all cracked up, and according to rover-tech ,,,how the airbags didn't go off is a surprise...

basically - the big girl needs to go but cant part with it - so now trying to convince XXX insurance to replace the plastic bumper but a new factory protection bar (which just happens to be for sale in WA right now),,,,, chances?

    anyway 300,000kms

(PS - gearbox going I can feel it!)

Mine decided to lock my wife out of the vehicle yesterday when the tailgate release solenoid failed and put the locking system into error. My local LR Mechanic has three D4's booked in in the next week for exactly the same issue.
