Rimmers was too dear. Ended up paying 321 AUD delivered to my door for the set. For reference, Rovacraft here in Perth quotes 242 each. Now to wait for the postman then off to my indie for fitment.
Looked on their site and mounts are about $80 each so postage about $160, that about right ?
Gauging costs for an upcoming purchase.

That's what I thought, so 3h labour total at my indie is faster and easier than I can do it laying on my garage floor...

Hmm, me too, the other day I'm sure they had the 115 listing in 255/55R19...

Still a very good price for very good tyres, even if you only used them for offroading.

I've been doing a bit of front end work on the D4 recently. New complete LCAs (solid bush) and ARB bushes fixed most of the major clunks I was hearing. But one remained which was somewhere in the steering - an annoying clunk and click when changing lock usually in reverse. Today I dropped the tie rods out and checked inner and outer ball joints both sides - no play there. Wheel bearings okay. The lower steering column was my next suspect so I removed it to check for play. Before I loosened the bolts I reefed on the lower shaft and it moved far more than I expected. I got it out and cleaned it up. No play in the UJ or the telescopic shaft like i expected... I was starting to think it must be the steering rack $$$.
I greased the UJ and shaft, re-fitted and torqued up - went for a drive and viola - no more click or clunk or road feel though the steering wheel - I'm assuming it must have been either the upper or lower bolt had come loose? But I didn't notice that when I undid them.

Assuming that I can get into the door, with as little angle grinding of cargo barrier and drawers as possible, can someone please point me in the direction of where I need to hack into the rear panel? The only instructions that I have found on here assume that you can get the door open to put in the fix -yes, I should have done that! I am assuming that I won’t be able to get the door open and will need to take to the inner skin to get access to the mechanism. If there is someone in Alice Springs who has done this before, would also appreciate the opportunity for some on the spot advice. Thanks very much in anticipation. Yours in hopeful anticipation, Hawc
After much contortion and just a little bit of swearing, I managed to get past the cargo barrier, drawers, fridge and all the stuff that you pack into the back of a D4 for a three month outback trip, and eventually get the rear door opened. Turns out that it was not the actuator, but the latch mechanism that was jammed. Fortunately, I was able to pick up new versions of both in Alice Springs and replace them fairly quickly. With significant thanks to Dean (Tankmat) and others who provided advice via this forum and the person on the road who lent me some tools (mine were all stuck in the drawers behind the locked tailgate!), now back on the road. Cheers
