Do the the three valve blocks and your set.

And, remove motor cover and blast all the carbon out of the electric windings with contact cleaner if you are doing this job. It’s pretty dirty in there after 10 years or so.

Wobble bar extensions are your friend. Get some people if you don’t have them and slotting the top hole.

AMK compressor comes out by taking off the spring mounts and sliding the unit back off the bracket which stays in place. Easy.

I’ve also read this compressor is not easily maintained beyond the dryer unlike the Hitachi.
Hence not trying to work on the motor or piston. It’s also less than 3 years since installed.

Found a dot of oil in the shed, initial checks indicate I've joined the oil cooler club , yay for me. I hear the joining ceremony strips you of your will to live!

It can be a number of things. If it is that, check by getting a wire coat hanger down deep in the v and see if there a depth of oil. It will build up in the v before overflowing.

Took it on a short run to Quorn for “Rock the Ranges”

Couple of nights of good company, a day of live music and a quick run home via Melrose for coffee at Over the Edge.

V is full mate, I've got a nice smear of oil down both sides. Put the camera on it. Most be her. Everything else above it is dry. Even the inlet manifold thingy I just resealed.. Everything else is beautiful. Well except the compressor I rebuilt for no reason..

Just tried to buy Castrol 5-30WA5 engine oil at SC and no stock and said none in any other store and not making it anymore.

Looks like I’m switching to Penrite HPR5 5-40W.

Oil cooler on ours leaked as well, oil ran down rear of block, dripped off bash plate.

Ours only had low K's on it,around 90K from memory when it started having the occasional drip.
