If you’ve had the Gap tool on it recently check your CCF hasn’t changed unexpectedly

My 2006 model didn't have an icon on the dash to show when the lights were on (high beam yes, but not when low beam or park lights were on). 2005 models were the same.

I upgraded the Instrument Cluster to 2007 software and now have the heater light to show me the lights are on as that is where the headlight icon is for 2007 onward models.

This is the answer. The newer software on the older cluster illuminates that light. On the old cluster it's the "FBH running" light and on the newer cluster it's the headlights.

I went out for lunch yesterday and got boozed with the boys. When I came home I apparently relayed a story to the good wife. When I got up this morning I proceeded to do it again. So if I can't remember what I said last night I've got bugger all hope of remembering what I said 7-8 years ago!
