Thread: Lower tailgate manual release

I think my post subject should have been lower tailgate access not fix as such, still better than cutting a hole in the trim.
Pity it isnt so simple for the top once it refuses to open with other methods.

When my upper gate failed it the electric release needed to be replaced, at that time we put in a wire cable, fishing crimps and led out to the passengers side
when i got a flat battery i just pulled the cable as a manual release
