    Extended Off-road Height D4

Hi all. Just wondering if someone can tell me how to get the extra height I know is available in the D4. Ant seem to find any mention of it in the owners handbook
    Thanks

I was always told you press the up button again and hold it down. Then it will raise up again.

    Extended Off-road Height D4

It is selectable only when the car detects it is bellied out like on the beach with all wheels spinning.

To simulate in the garage put in off road height then use the jack or a block of wood under the chassis. Lower the car and it will give you the option to go into extended and super extended modes as below to clear the “obstacle”. A useful trick you can also achieve with rods or Llams.

Credit GOE Terrain Response Booklet and recommend everyone buys one for the glovebox if they are still being sold.

I've tried all buttons and could not replicate once when the dash came up with the option to go higher. It happened when we were going up a steep grassy slope..some wheelspin..then the messsge came up..and up we went by pressing the up button again.

Have not been able to do it again since. I'm told you can force it by lowering the car onto a block.

i recon that would smash the POS LR jack.
It really isn't fit for purpose, even doing what it should be able of doing, jacking up the vehicle.

I have used the extra height numerous times.

Once the vehicle loses traction,in off road height,a message will appear on the dash.It will tell you what to do,from memory push EAS button and hold foot on brake. It will then raise a bit more, and lower at about 8km/hr,once the vehicle is mobile.Make sure all doors are shut.
Handy in sand,a bit more room to get the long handled shovel under.

If you have a GAP tool, setup the 3 preset buttons so that just going to offroad height effectively gives you extended mode.

Similar. Xlifter has a few additional height options.
