For anyone that is contemplating getting an OL bar, 2 things to note, it's hard to remove the grill without hitting the bar. You cannot remove your headlights to change bulbs. You will have to get to them from the inside as the headlight setup cannot fit through the spacing in the bar.
Tommy, I have no problem removing the headlight assemblies through the OL bar. You just have to take off the plastic add on bits attached to the bar just under the headlights. Doesn't take long to remove the plates underneath and access the two screws holding the trim in place. Gives you a chance to check everything is OK and to clean up the fastenings a bit.

With the ARB bar lights cant be removed with bar in place but winch is easy to fit, just remove the middle under cover and slide it up and in position.
I would think the OL bar is similar.

Does this mean that even with a non-winch ARB bar i can still fit a winch but mounted off the chassis?

Not really. Using the bar as the fair lead support could cause problems when winching.

I was just pointing out that you can fit a winch to a winch bar without removing the bar.
