    Dasaita headunit upgrade

    Hi guys,

Just got myself a '05 D3 SE 4L petrol and am looking to upgrade the head unit as the stock one is missing some buttons and the car just needs a bit of TLC and an update.
(I've scoured the forums for previous information etc - some good builds and information i must say).
Sadly the head units i'm interested in hasn't been mentioned here (bad sign that it wont fit?) and i'm not overly tech savy or familiar with car audio systems etc so i was hoping someone here might be able to help and or give some ideas / pointers in the right direction?

So I'm pretty keen on this unit:
    Dasaita 10.2" android 9

Dasaita 10.2 "IPS screen car Radio 2 din Android 9.0 DSP universal car stereo multimedia Max6|Car Multimedia Player| - AliExpress

    My questions are:
1- Has anyone got one in theirs? or something similar?
2- will this fit? ie take the spot of the old unit and not overly cover the lock and hazard buttons?
3- what else do i need to get to make it mesh with the steering wheel controls
4- i want to add a reverse camera.. same question as above (is there a LR reverse cameara that ties in better than aftermarket ones?)

    Cheers

Get the aerpro harness/fascia kit as it has the wheel control canbus adapter with it, seems expensive for a no name unit.

It looks like it will stick out from the dash and impede the hazard light button and adjacent lock buttons as well as possibly the climate control dials.

I would be getting a tape measure out and checking it.

Its also.not clear how the unit mounts and if you will need a double din fascia adapter or not (my guess is you will).

There are plenty of double din units out there with good specs and the ability to add reversing and dash cams. They are the same price or less as what you are looking at on ali express.

    Cheers

Is there a specific model i should be selecting? they have differenttt port types available.
I had a look at the one you mounted in the empty top slot but my radio has missing buttons so i'm more keen to replace that.

As for the overhang etc, I dont fiddle with aircon settings very much nor the lock and hazard buttons.
